I ate a TON of food today. I am not kidding. Because I am the type of person who has no self-control when it comes to food, and I can never tell when I am full. Why is that, I wonder? Why oh why can't my stomach judge when it is full? *self-disgust*
( my stomach needs to know when enough is enough )
[Addition] It's snowing in Cornell and Chicago. Apparently, it was supposed to snow in Madison today, but the wind inexplicably enough made a little turn and slammed into Chicago instead. Hah. So we'll probably get snow tomorrow or day after tomorrow instead. Except I won't be around to see it. Will be in Chicago (which is already snowing. *unamused*)

My gosh, I really am masochistic. It is 4:15 am, and I am listening to the Ghost in the Shell soundtrack. Absolutely creepy. Positively spine-chilling, with weird bells sounding forth, and spaced-out notes that sound just a wee bit out of tune...

Dear friends,
If you happen to have my MSN or ICQ contact, and I appear to be online, please send a testing message first to say "Hi" or something before you add me to a group conversation.
Because my Mom needs to use my Messengers to chat with my Brother who is Down Under. Thus, what appears to be me may not actually be me.
She has promised that she will tell any friends who message me that it is not actually me, and I believe her totally. But if you add her to a group conversation, I'm afraid she may not know how to exit the group conversation. (she is not very IT-savvy, which can be a blessing or a curse to me, depending on the situation.)

I got the phone call from my civics tutor! I managed to get 4 As for my GCE 'A' Levels! *happy shriek*
Was there thinking "Die. Sure to mess up and get a B in something. No more scholarship then. Worked so hard for nothing. *sob sob*"
But I was so fortunate! *shriek again*
So, the breakdown is:
-A in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics
-A1 for Chinese (taken last year, so not an issue to worry about)
-A2 for GP (not like i had very high hopes for an A1 anyway, so am happy enough)
-Merit for both Mathematics and Physics 'S' Papers. (not Distinction, but hey, good enough for me too! didn't work for them after all...)

I have such highly intelligent friends. I live in awe of their smartness. It is so utterly cool that they are all so smart. Like, dude, they rulez! (especially referring to those two. you know who you are. *significant look*)
In retrospect, I didn't really do extremely brilliantly. Just okay-ly. My results were okay, I suppose. I shall be content. But meanwhile, I shall worship my very intelligent friends. How can you guys do so well? You are not human! (treat! treat!)

Just a curious question directed to the people living in countries where the Chinese are not the majority (ie. not China, not Taiwan, not Singapore). Have there been any signs of preparation for this festival over in your countries? (Chinatown doesn't count) Or is it an obscure/alien thing that you don't really know anything about?

Count Cain scanslations. Wow. Am feeling the itch to raid wing_less' manga collection now.
Was reminded that I had a 'God Child' shitajiki (squee!) and turned my room upside down trying to find it. Unearthed 2 DNAngel files and the Prince of Tennis shitajiki that wing_less gave me a long time ago, while I was at it.

Every single time I read Magician by Natalie Baan, I cry. It's the third chapter that always does me in, I suspect. I'm a sucker for death scenes.
It's quite a unique story as fanfiction goes. Very cyberpunk in concept, but based in CLAMP's X/1999 universe. Imonoyama Nokoru and Satsuki are the main characters here.
wing_less! We must watch CLAMP Gakuen Tantei one day! Just for the heck of it. :D
